Associate - Business Development
Responsibilities:
Collect data on consumers, competitors and marketplace and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations
Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences
Compile and analyse statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it
Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations
Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation
Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct
Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices
Study company products
Translate technical details into benefits for the user
Follow and analyse market trends to position products
Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching)
Craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)
Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies
Test marketing product features, releases, and ad copy
Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers
Present our company to potential clients
Develop goals and objectives that tend to growth and prosperity
Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals
Ensure that the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g., people, material, equipment etc.)
Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity
Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers
Gather, analyse, and interpret external and internal data and write reports
Assess overall company performance against objectives
Skillset Required:
Decent understanding of Engineering, Physics, etc. technical aspects of Electric Powertrain Systems.
Proven Market Research Analysis experience
Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
Strong analytical and critical thinking
Background in design and copywriting is a plus
Keen eye for detail
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva/Prezi/Premiere Pro/InDesign etc. is a plus
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proven experience as business manager or relevant role
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
Experience Required:
Strong Business foundation at least equivalent to Bachelors/Masters in related fields of Business/Management/Engineering.
4-7 years of prior industry experience
