Associate - Business Development

Responsibilities:

  • Collect data on consumers, competitors and marketplace and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations

  • Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences

  • Compile and analyse statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it

  • Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis

  • Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations

  • Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation

  • Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct

  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices

  • Study company products

  • Translate technical details into benefits for the user

  • Follow and analyse market trends to position products

  • Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching)

  • Craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)

  • Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies

  • Test marketing product features, releases, and ad copy

  • Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers

  • Present our company to potential clients

  • Develop goals and objectives that tend to growth and prosperity

  • Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals

  • Ensure that the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g., people, material, equipment etc.)

  • Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity

  • Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers

  • Gather, analyse, and interpret external and internal data and write reports

  • Assess overall company performance against objectives

Skillset Required:

  • Decent understanding of Engineering, Physics, etc. technical aspects of Electric Powertrain Systems.

  • Proven Market Research Analysis experience

  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

  • Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking

  • Background in design and copywriting is a plus

  • Keen eye for detail

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva/Prezi/Premiere Pro/InDesign etc. is a plus

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Proven experience as business manager or relevant role

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development

Experience Required:

  • Strong Business foundation at least equivalent to Bachelors/Masters in related fields of Business/Management/Engineering.

  • 4-7 years of prior industry experience
