Our One Purpose

Imagine wasting 30% of food on your plate, every time you eat. That’s pretty much what’s happening with over 50% of world’s electricity used to run electric motors operating at inadequate efficiencies. We challenge this by constantly developing and optimizing electric motor technologies for higher efficiency.

Our Story

We are a tech start-up from India, started in 2017 from scratch to develop bleeding edge electric motor and EV Powertrain technologies right here from India - for the world.

With R&D as our core strength, we are now on track to be a Manufacturer and a global supplier of Electric Motors and EV Powertrain systems for automotive, industrial, marine, aerospace etc. applications.

  • The Beginning  : Initiated full time R&D of EV Powertrain Systems & Components in Hyderabad as ”Rizel Automotive Pvt Ltd.

  • Development and optimization of Platform M : Hybrid 20kW-150kW Motors.

    First Prototype of 2W powertrain system.

  • Mr. KRA Nair Joined in as Advisor

    Filed the first patent.

    Incubated in SIIC SRM IST Kattankulathur. Relocated to Chennai

    Awarded NewGen IEDC Monetary Grant from DST-Govt. of India – SIIC SRMIST

  • Incubated in IIM Bangalore - NSRCEL.

    Awarded TID1.0 Monetary Grant by MEITY-Govt. of India & NSRCEL IIM Bangalore

    Secured 1st Place in Altair Startup Challenge organized by Altair India and Startup India.

  • Validated the 20kW to 150kW Motor Platform at ARAI and initiated customer discussions

    Started developing Platforms S,L,O & H

    Patent Portfolio of 10 unique patents.

    Awarded Digital India Scale Up grant from Meity-Govt. of India & T-Hub Hyderabad.

    Awarded TANSEED Monetary Grant by Startup TN – Govt of Tamil Nadu

  • Restructured “Rizel Automotive Pvt Ltd” into “Abhinava Rizel Pvt Ltd”

    MM Forgings Limited acquires majority stake with potential 200Cr+ investment

    Initiated Trials with multiple customers across 2W, 3W, 4W and Off Highway segments.

    Initiated Development of controllers and Gearboxes Additional 10 unique patents under filing
